Carisa Bianca Mellado is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. Known recently as the bass player and vocalist for experimental punk band, The Time Of The Assassins, she now comes forward with her debut solo release - the stunning and opulent 'The New Queen'.
"This record explores the shadow side of power and sexuality through the story of the overthrowing of a monarch by a woman who is insane", explains Mellado of 'The New Queen'. "She becomes the new queen as the record explores her journey through her kingdom. The New Queen uncovers the tragedies that unfold from the human will. It explores the search for meaning and reconciliation with life."
In her spare time, Carisa Bianca Mellado has been known to make 'Kimble Stones'. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
